Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival to Irkutsk. Meeting at the airport. Accommodation at cozy houses on the Baikal shore. Having a rest after a long flight. Take a steam bath in the bathhouse, plunge into the Siberian rejuvenation vat. Day 2 Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with the guide. We go to the Baikal Biosphere Reserve by SUV. You'll visit a modern interactive exhibition where you can learn all about Baikal. You get acquainted with the Baikal sable. We walk along the picturesque trekking path with a guide from the reserve, which tells us about the diversity of Lake Baikal's flora and fauna species. We have lunch, return to the hotel, enjoy the steam bath in the bathhouse. |
Day 3 The ship. Slyudyanka - Posolskoye Bay. Night on the ship. Day 4 Ship. Posolskoye Bay – Turka. Mayak. Night on the ship. Day 5 Turka-Chevyrkuisky Bay - Snake Bay - 9 hours (with fishing and stops). The hot springs. Fishing for pike and perch. Beaches and bays, uninhabited islands. Night on the ship. Day 6 Snake Bay - Ushkany islands- Zama Bay – 8-10 hours. Seals. Night on the ship. |
Day 7 Zama Bay - Olkhon – The Small Sea. Mukhorsky Bay. Sur-hai-te. Hobo, Stupa. Overnight at the hotel on Olkhon / The Small Sea Day 8 Breakfast. In the morning, a helicopter is waiting for you to have a flight above Lake Baikal. You will be amazed by the panoramic bird's-eye view of Lake Baikal! Fly towards Irkutsk over green hills and rivers (the flight time is about 1.5 hours). We fly to the city before lunchtime, have lunch in the restaurant.
